A pair of one-ton Belgian horses will pull you along lantern-lit trails for a 45-minute sleigh ride through the winter wonderland of Okontoe's property on the beautiful Gunflint Trail of northern Minnesota.

You'll finish your sleigh ride at the Patten Homestead, a hand-hewn log cabin built in 1907. We'll serve you homemade hot chocolate off the old-fashioned cookstove in candle and lantern light while you warm your nose and toes. Click here to see pictures.

We have three different sizes of sleighs to meet your needs: a deluxe sleigh for two passengers, a six or a twelve-passenger sleigh. We provide heavy quilts for all of our guests. Click here to see pictures and further description.

Okontoe is a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.
